UPCAT REVIEW
Tapang at Talino
The 3 day UPCAT review, always held in May, prepares high school students in Cagayan for the UPCAT. Usually held in the province’s capital, Tuguegarao City, the activity is participated in by students from the different towns of Cagayan.

Cagayan’s Best & Brightest
The UPCiklaban is a 3-day event held during the semestral break of secondary schools in Cagayan. It gathers an average of 500 student participants and coaches from different secondary schools all over the province through events and activities promoting social awareness, academic excellence and the Cagayano culture.
TEN OUTSTANDING CAGAYANO YOUTH (TOCY)
Embodying Honor & Excellence
The search for the Ten Outstanding Cagayano Youth (TOCY) is usually held every December before the semestral break of secondary schools on the province. It aims to give recognition to the simple yet remarkable achievements of Cagayano junior high school graduating students in terms of UPC’s core principles: leadership, service and academic excellence.
OUTREACH PROGRAMS
Service to the Cagayanos
UPC’s outreach program comprises of organizing kiddie parties every December in the province’s remote areas, giving out goods and supplies to the indigent, and holding medical missions during summer. This activity is a motivating force for the UPC members in upholding one of the organization’s core principles – service – through unselfishly serving the Cagayanos especially the less fortunate.
Y-MOVE
“The youth is the hope of our fatherland”
Y-Move is a program designed to introduce socio-political issues to the youth. The event tackles wide variety of topics and different aspects of society.
FRESHMEN TREAT
A Proper Cagayano Welcome
The freshmen treat is UPC’s way of acquainting Cagayano freshmen to the university life and to the new environment they are to adapt. The members together with the freshmen participants, gather on a picnic, engage on a team building, and unite on a tour both inside and outside the university campus.
CONSTRUCTIVE SELF-CRITICISM (CSC) & TEAM BUILDING
Brods and Sisses
CSC and Team Building serve their purpose hand-in-hand. CSC provides an avenue for the members to know their selves better by listening to various views regarding their performance in the organization and how they work with the rest of the members. Team building, held right after the CSC, aims to bond the members further through games and activities honing their leadership skills and teamwork.
ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION
My Valley Home 27
UPC’s anniversary celebration is held every August. Alumni, charters, affiliates, honorary and resident members, together with the advisers attend the annual occasion wherein new members are inducted and simple activities are made to develop close ties within the organization.
SEM STARTER & SEM ENDER/ GRAD BALL
This calls for a CELEBRATION
The sem starter and the sem ender are UPC’s way of beginning and looking forward to the end of the sem. Set of officers start and finish their terms and exchange remembrances. New members bond with the rest of the members through games and meals together. Awards are given to the members with outstanding performance in their academics. Special awards are given to the new members and to the committees. Residents celebrate another yet-to-start and/or yet-to-close semester with the rest of the organization in a fun-filled night held in a small private resort or along the sandy beach’s shore.
